lua5.2 software package provides Simple, extensible, embeddable programming language, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lua5.2
lua5.2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lua5.2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lua5.2 *
You will get with lua5.2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
